Is It Kosher?

Hyland's Complete Flu Care contains six kosher ingredients (five active and one inactive) but is not certified kosher. It contains an ingredient derived from duck that is added only after the material has been stepped to a 200C potency (which means it has been diluted 1 in 100 parts alcohol, 200 times), thereby rendering the original substance negligible as a component of the tablet. As with all Hyland's^TM products, it is manufactured using the highest standards of pharmaceutical preparation, and is deemed kosher by most rabbinic authorities.
